Chris Croke Chris is the current World Universities Champion, a Worlds and Australs top ten speaker, as well as a DCA for Australs in Auckland this year. He is a highly strung individual nicknamed the ‘hummingbird’, in fact he was forced to take gardening leave after only two weeks of frenetic activity at a prestigious London Law Firm. Chris has recently taken up yoga, ballet and water-colour painting in an attempt to ease some of his pent-up stress.
Tim Jeffrie Tim is an Australs Winner and a Worlds Finalist as well as being a Worlds and Australs DCA for the coming year. Tim is also a man - a man’s man. In fact, he’s a man’s man’s man. Seldom seen without some injury from his latest fight with a violent gang or merely a bear that looked at him sideways, Tim enjoys a wide variety of activities. Vigilante justice, fixing the engines of large trucks and beating up nerds are just a few of his hobbies. If you need to get hold of him, the local Harley-Davidson motorbike chapter is usually a good bet.
Fiona Prowse Fiona is an Australs Winner and a Worlds Finalist. A gentle flower, she enjoys finding weak or injured woodland creatures and painstakingly nursing them back to health. During their recovery periods she passes the time by crocheting tiny outfits for them to wear. Apart from her Florence Nightingale-like character, people often say they don’t notice her, given how she seldom speaks her mind and will happily concede all arguments so as to avoid any awkward confrontations.
Sayeqa Islam Sayeqa is an Australs Best Speaker and Australs Grand Finalist. She holds the very rare adjudication holy trinity - having judged the Grand Finals of Worlds, Australs and Euros. She is a relaxed individual often caught chilling with a glass of red wine. In her spare time Sayeqa can be seen working on her cookbook and she aspires to be the best house-wife possible and awaits her true calling in life – motherhood.
Ben Jasper Ben is a Euros finalist, in which he remembers walking towards the grand final venue and a pigeon matter dumping all over his shoulder. Ben is also a director of coaching at the Oxford Union and is dedicated towards the cause of fresher development. Ben is relieved that if a career in law doesn’t pan out, his has booked various gigs doing Boris Johnson impressions. |
